No power on display monitors

Issue
- Display Monitor will not power on
- No display on LCD Monitor
- Black / Black screen on Display Monitor
- Display Monitor power indicator light is off
Resolution
- Turn off the monitor
- Unplug main power cable / power adapter at the back of display monitor.
- Plug main power cable / power adapter to a different known-good electrical wall socket/outlet. Test if monitor will now power on.
- Check if display monitor has power.
- If monitor has power, perform monitor self-test. Unplug the data cable at the back of the display monitor and check for a dialogue box similar below.
- If monitor shows self-test, monitor is ready for use.
- If monitor did not show self-test, contact Service Desk Number or create a ticket in Service Now for further troubleshooting
- If monitor has no power, swap power cable / power adapter with a known-good power cable / power adapter. Test if monitor has power
- If monitor is powering on, repeat step 4.1. Replace monitor power cable / power adapter
- If monitor is not powering on, contact Service Desk Number or create a ticket in Service Now for further
- If monitor has power, perform monitor self-test. Unplug the data cable at the back of the display monitor and check for a dialogue box similar below.
